We're in the Money is the fourth episode of ALF's fourth and final season. It originally aired on Oct. 9, 1989.

Plot Summary

When ALF plays with the Home Investors Network, thinking that it is a game, he earns $5,000 in the stock market. Willie catches the fever and allows him to invest some more money.

After a setback, Willie decides that its time to quit, but allows ALF to invest a portion of his profits. ALF loses the money, but becomes obsessed with trying again.

Title Reference

"The Gold Diggers' Song (We're in the Money)" is a song from the 1933 film Gold Diggers of 1933, sung in the opening sequence by Ginger Rogers and chorus. The lyrics were written by Al Dubin and the music by Harry Warren.
