True Colors

Lloyd Rubin pretends to really enjoy ALF's painting, but really he is only interested in asking Lynn on a date.

True Colors is the sixteenth episode of ALF's fourth and final season. It originally aired on Jan. 22, 1990.

Plot SummaryEdit

Lynn takes an art class and ALF slips in a food painting of his own into her portfolio. When her teacher Lloyd Rubin sees it, he pretends to like it because he wants to ask her on a date. When Lynn realizes that he is only pretending to like her work, she switches to another class.

ALF is dejected because Lloyd Rubin didn't really like his art, but Lynn encourages him to paint because he enjoys it and not to aspire for greatness.
