"The Little Scamp" is the character played by ALF in the silent film that he writes with Jake. He is very? poor and tries a number of schemes to make money, which are broken up by Officer Willie. The Little Scamp befriends the widow Kate and her children, and when Willie is smitten with Kate, he helps protect The Little Scamp.
