Even Alf shares their opinion after taking a peek at Eddie and saying that Eddie is almost as old as Kate. Then they believe Lynn is dating a boy name Randy who according to ALF is a moron. However ALF found out that Lynn is still seeing Eddie and she explains that she’s secretly dating Eddie and only having pretending to date Randy when she’s actually tutoring him. Then one day, ALF still feel upset but Willie and Kate comfort him because it’s not only one of the times ALF didn’t do anything wrong, but of how it was Lynn who was the one who lied. Lynn purposely told ALF's secret about breaking of Kate's porcelain ballerina to retaliate, and the two still didn't make up.

Brian tells Lynn that ALF is leaving because of her and Lynn thinks Brian is just being a baby and ALF always said that he can't fix his ship. Brian sadly and angerly told Lynn that she's the real baby because she won't talk to ALF even though he already felt bad and tried to fix and told her to grow up leaving her room crying.Lynn realizes that Brian is right but goes out and tells him that he should stay and admit it was her own fault because she didn’t call Willie and Kate saying how she was going to be late . Alf and Lynn hug each other and make up.

Later, Willie and Alf are fixing Kate's ballerina but they need more glue as Alf recalls using it as a yogurt topping. Kate comes in with a package, wondering if Alf ordered something. They open it and it's book entitled, Breakfast at Tiffany's. Alf says it sounds like a book he'd order, opens it and says it's inscribed. Willie reads the inscription out loud, "Dear Willie and Kate, Sorry if I cause you any trouble. I wouldn't have dated your daughter if I'd known you didn't approve. Please accept this as a token of my friendship. Signed, Truman Capote." It's clear it's from Eddie but a little weird that he signed the author's name to it.
