Gordon is the star player for the Orbit Guard Bouillabaseball team, and gets recruited for a big league team, the Codsters. At the first game Gordon is the starting pitcher against the Smeltsliders. Gordon's skills stink in comparison to pro players, but Curtis learns that the corrupt owner of the Codsters has plans to dissolve his own team and have them absorbed into the Smeltsliders, and a losing season is the only way it will go through, hence the recruitment of Gordon. When Gordon is up to bat, he uses his pet fish Bismarck, which helps him score numerous runs for the Codsters, but one dishonest Smeltslider knocks him out. The colluding Codsters owner sees that Shumway is up to bat again. With Gordon out, little brother Curtis pretends to be Gordon and scores more runs, then exposes the conspiracy, ruining the sellout plans.

He gives his uniform to Curtis, who is the only hope. Skip is glad Bismarck is a help, only for fresh fish to be brought in for pitching. Curtis misses twice, then hits the third time. Curtis makes enough runs to win the championship, then he is carried by fans in jubilation. While Max Dursky, Coach Felty and Boss Weenie try to make a quick getaway, they are thwarted by Snarfel and the entire team of the Smeltsliders.

Season 1, Episode 8 of ALF: The Animated Series.

Gordon is the pitcher for the Orbit Guard Bouillabaseball team, and his parents ask him to have Curtis be the "fish boy" at their upcoming game, as Curtis got an award on the kids team and his parents want him to get more involved in sports.
