Pennsylvania 6-5000 is the fourth episode of the first season of ALF. It originally aired on Oct. 13, 1986.

Plot Summary

ALF becomes concerned that Earth is headed towards a nuclear disaster similar to the one that destroyed his home planet of Melmac. He therefore uses Willie's short wave radio to contact the President on Air Force One.

When ALF's call is misinterpreted as a threat, the FBI is sent to the Tanner residence and Willie is arrested. ALF comes up with a plan to call the President again and for Brian to pretend his nickname is "ALF," when the FBI returns.

When the FBI discovers that it is was only a child that contacted the President, Brian recieves a special commendation for his interest in world peace and for exposing gaps in national security.
