Morris Shumway was one of ALF's relatives and held the distinction of being the shortest Melmacian known, meausuring only 1 ft. 7 in. Melmacians are generally much short than human beings. ALF himself is approximately three and a half feet tall. As with all of ALF's family members, it is unknown whether or not Morris Shumway survived the destruction of the planet Melmac.
