George Edward Maxwell Wright, known professionally as Max Wright, was the actor who played Willie Tanner. He was born on August 2, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan. He died on June 26, 2019 in Hermosa Beach, California of lymphoma at the age of 75.
Wright played Terry, the manager of Central Perk in a few episodes of season 1 and 2 of the "Friends" series.
