Looking for Lucky is the third episode of the first season of ALF.
It originally aired on Oct. 6, 1986.
Plot Summary
When Lucky the Cat disappears after ALF has a feeding frenzy, everyone believes that ALF has eaten him. In order to prove his innocence, ALF leaves in search of Lucky.
ALF is caught by an animal shelter worker and put in a dog cage at the shelter. A cat is brought into the shelter that looks very similar to Lucky. ALF escapes and takes the cat with him.
When ALF returns home, he presents the cat to the Tanner family, but while he was away, the Tanners found out that Lucky was in the Ochmonek's basement.
Title Reference
There are several songs entitled "Looking for Love" which may have been the basis for this episodes title. The Hootie and the Blowfish album Looking for Lucky could not have inspired this episode title since it was not released until 2005.
