Plot Summary

Prologue

The Ochmoneks are fighting and ALF is peeking on them through the window. Willie tells ALF that he shouldn't be watching people through the window, but he can't resist the urge because there's a power blackout and he can't watch TV and it's too hot outside.

Act One

The lights are back on, and at dinner ALF says he wants to order a battery-powered home entertainment center. The lights go back out for a few seconds and in that time he managed to finish his meal and eat all of Willie's food too. The doorbell rings and ALF is sent into the kitchen. Trevor is let in and he complains about how Raquel is acting. The doorbell rings again and Raquel comes in, and starts to complain to Trevor again, and about him airing their dirty laundry in front of the neighbors. That night, the Ochmoneks are continuing their spat. He peeks out the window at night and screams. He then runs into Kate and Willie's room to say he saw Trevor kill Raquel with an ice pick. They claim he was just imagining things. He then wakes up screaming from a nightmare within a nightmare where he sees Trevor brandishing an ice pick out the kitchen window, and then at the kitchen table. The family then tells him it was just a dream. He peeks out the window and sees Trevor burying something in the backyard.

Act Two

In the morning ALF calls Trevor on the phone impersonating a BBC Television survey, and asks him if he killed his wife. Kate walks in and admonishes him again for bothering Trevor. Later Willie is in his bedroom and sees ALF snooping around inside the Ochmonek's house. Willie calls Trevor to create a diversion so Trevor doesn't see ALF, but ALF answers the phone. Willie calls back and Trevor answers. ALF is still in the house and starts to walk out.

When he gets back ALF reveals that he found Raquel's dentures inside the house thinking they were her real teeth. Willie grabs them from him to take them back to the Ochmoneks house. Lynn feels it would be odd for someone to leave home without their dentures. Lynn begins to get nervous, but then Kate looks out the window and sees Trevor walking towards Willie with an ice pick. The lights go out again and Kate runs over, and ALF calls the police. Trevor asks why she ran over so quickly and Kate says that Willie is afraid of the dark. Trevor was just using the ice pick to chop some ice for Willie's drink. Kate and Willie begin to leave and Trevor says he needs to clean the blood out of the bathroom. Kate and Willie begin to leave in a panic but a police officer arrives. When asked about what's been happening, Trevor says he buried a side of beef in the backyard. He said he was not able to cut it up in the tub before it started to spoil and stink up the house, and that Raquel went to her sister's and that she would not come back until the house was clean. Raquel comes back to get her dentures.

Epilogue

ALF is still looking out the window again, and when Lynn asks why, he says he's waiting for the Ochmoneks to go to sleep so he can dig up the meat in the backyard.
