Background information[]

Production history[]

  • Premiere airdate: December 10, 1988

Continuity[]

  • Skip's car stopped working after Gordon removed the nathanganger.
  • Gordon asked the service crew to come back on Lorksday. Evidently this was a day of the week on the Melmacian calendar.
  • There are two references to The Wizard of Oz. Skip said “I don't think we're in East Velcro anymore.” Also, Pokipsi's house landed on her, just as Dorothy's house landed on the Wicked Witch of the East.
  • Madame Pokipsi lives in East Velcro.
  • Madame Odious had a rabbit-like creature with a face like a Melmacian.
  • Madame Pokipsi's elephant had two trunks.
  • Jerry referred to East Velcro as a “sector.” Whether this was a geographical term or a business one was unclear.
