The Badger Scouts were a scouting group that Brian belonged to for a time. Willie was a Badger Scout in his youth for four years and earned eleven badges and an award in fire prevention, which was extremely useful preparation for living with ALF.
Brian was not as enthusiastic about being a Badger Scout as Willie had been, partly because he is concerned about an overnight camping trip since he is trying to overcome his fear of the dark (Episode: "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark").
